I paint abstract art in oil, acrylics, watercolor and other because the colors talk to me and demand expression...
I paint emotions and states of mind I would not otherwise be able to express...
I paint because I can't not paint...
I would cease to exist if I did not express my self creatively...
I paint because my inner self would otherwise suffocate in a cloud of restlessness and frustration...
I prefer impasto because the canvas surrenders to the viewer in a sensory experience...
The impasto gives a three dimensional experience to an otherwise 2 dimensional medium...
When your finger moves down the canvas and you can feel in the paint, in every line the life that was painted into the painting...
